Compassion Speaks: Creativity and Community, Hosted by Mr. Hip
Compassion Speaks is an outreach program from Compassion Arts in which four or five special guests give voice to compassion in action through the arts and education. Guests share their work in relation to a specific topic by contributing a short talk, performance, or presentation. The program will be an integral part of Compassion Arts going forward and will take place in multiple cities.
The Compassion Speaks program for Los Angeles, Creativity in Community, will be hosted by poet, educator, and spoken word artist Donald Vincent (aka Mr. Hip) of Vegan Paradise, and will highlight the work of five entrepreneurs and founders of community-based initiatives who use creativity to inspire compassion in action and ahimsa peace. The gathering will include talks, readings, presentations, sharing, and discussion by creators of vegan arts projects that cultivate community, inspire awareness and understanding, and offer new perspectives on a plant-based living.
Tickets and Registration
The event is free and open to the public. No prior registration is required.
